The Extras Menu of the main menu contains the following actions:
Here you can specify the notes mode. Since certain notes can have several different names (e.g. C# corresponds to Db) you can specify which name(s) shall be used in the views of the application.
Opens a selection dialog which lists all defined instruments. A selected instrument will be activated and be used for all calculations in the future.
Opens a selection dialog which lists all defined instruments. If you select a chord from the list it will be opened in the Instrument Editor.
Opens a selection dialog which lists all defined chord names including the aka names (also known as).
If you select a chord from the list it will be opened in the Chord Editor.
Besides, it is possible to turn a selected aka name into the new main name of the corresponding chord.
To do so, you just have to check the box below the names list.
Note: The previous main name will now become another aka name of the chord.

If you select a scale from the list it will be opened in the Scale Editor.
Besides, it is possible to turn a selected aka name into the new main name of the corresponding scale.

Opens the wizard for the chord clean-up. Here you can merge chords which are defined by the same intervals.
You just have to select a main name for the new (merged) chord. All remaining names will become aka names of the new chord.
The names of the intervals will be adopted from the corresponding chord of the selected main name.
Note: The first name of each wizard page is pre-selected.
Therefore, you can close the wizard and start the clean-up at any time by clicking Finish.
However, it is recommended to visit all wizard pages and define the particular main names yourself.

To do so, you just have to select a main name for the new (merged) scale. All remaining names will become aka names of the new scale.
The names of the intervals will be adopted from the corresponding scale of the selected main name.
