SERIES:
Book Name: This field is required and necessary. It's the title as it appears in the indicia or title page (For example: Spawn, Superman, The Adventures of Wolverine etc...).
Publisher: The common house name of the publisher (For example: DC, Marvel, Image etc...).
Imprint: It's the specific corporate name or other publisher details (For example: Marvel Comics Group, National Comics Publication etc...).
Format: Physical format of each issue as color, dimensions, paper stock, binding, publishing format (For example: 4-issue Miniseries, B&W, Standard, 20cm).
Series Began: The 4 digit Year of the first issue.
Series Ended: The 4 digit Year of the last issue.
First Issue: The issue number of the first issue, "1" in most cases, but not always.
Last Issue: The issue number of the last issue.
Country: The country of publication.
Language: The language of publication. |

ISSUE:
Issue: The issue number of the book as it appears on the book.
Publication Date: The date that appears on the book, generally in the indicia.
Type (cover):
The type of cover as it appears.
Page count:The total number of pages for the entire book, including covers.
Cover Price: This is the price printed on the cover in the currency of the country publication.
Inks (cover): Who made inks.
Title (cover): The title of the book if it appears in the cover.
Letters (cover): The standard phrase for any machine lettering is "typeset", unless credited differently.
Pencils (cover): The primary artist on the feature.
Colors (cover): The standard colorist.
Feature (cover): This is the name of any on-going series that the item being indexed is part of.
Notes: This is a catch-all field for anything that doesn't fit anywhere else. |

STORY/FEATURE:
Title: The name of the story, as it appears in the first page (of the story) generally.
Genre: This is the broad category that a story may be placed in.
Character Appearances: The appearance of any characters in the story who you think are worth indexing.
Page Count: The number of pages the story count.
Pencils: The penciller artist of the story.
Inks: The inker artist of the story
Colors:The colorist of the story
Letters: The standard phrase for any machine lettering is "typeset", unless credited differently.
Script: The field includes writer, plotter, scripter, adapter and translator.
Feature Story: This is the name of any on-going series that the item being indexed is part of.
