CrystalDiffract lets you simulate multi-phase mixtures, by combining multiple diffraction patterns into the same mixture group:

Creating a new mixture Show

Do the following:

  1. In the Patterns List, select the diffraction patterns you want to combine as a mixture. (Hold down the shift key and click on each pattern with the mouse.)

  2. Right-click in the Patterns List and choose: New Mixture with Selection from the contextual menu. (You can also choose this command from the + menu in the bottom left-hand corner of the window.)

  3. A new Mixture pattern is created, with the selected patterns as components.

Adding components to an existing mixture Show
  1. Select the patterns you wish to add.

  2. Drag-and-drop the patterns into the Mixture group.

Removing components from an existing mixture Show
  1. Select the patterns you wish to remove.

  2. Drag the selection out of the Mixture group.
