Name |

Click this checkbox if your SMTP server supports SSL connections. |

Click this checkbox if your SMTP server requires users to authenticate (i.e. requires a user name and password). |

Choose the type of authentication your server supports. The most common is "Password". |

Type your user name. |

Type your corresponding password. |

Test Connection |
Click this button to open the Connection Doctor. Connection Doctor helps you diagnose problems connecting to your SMTP server. |

Send no more than X messages at a time to SMTP server |
When this checkbox is selected, Direct Mail throttles the number of messages sent through the SMTP server. During delivery, Direct Mail will connect, send the indicated number emails, disconnect, then connect again and continue sending. This process is repeated until all the emails have been sent to the SMTP server. |

Wait in between connections X minutes |
When this checkbox is selected, Direct Mail will wait for the specified amount of time in between connect-send-disconnect cycles. |

If disconnected, automatically try to reconnect X times |
When this checkbox is selected, if Direct Mail gets disconnected in the middle of a delivery, it will automatically try to reconnect to the SMTP server the specified number of times before giving up. |
