Click any thumbnail to set that pic as the current desktop pic.
Double-clicking sets the desktop and shows you more information, a larger version of the pic and allow you to share a link to the original web page.
Icons around the thumbnails allow you to delete a pic, see a larger version, get more info & share or refresh the data for that pic. For the thumbnail of the current desktop, you also have icons to get a new random desktop or to go back to the previous desktop.
If a picture has been deleted, double-click the trash can icon or it's caption to get it back.
If the caption or text data for a picture appears wrong, double-click the caption to refresh it. This can happen when the site publishes the image before the database fully gets updated.
If the picture appears to be the wrong picture for that date, click the "Refresh" button at the bottom right of the thumbnail.
Below the display showing the current desktop, you will see an indication of the next scheduled desktop change. If this is less than 1 hour, you have the option to keep the current desktop for 1 hour if it is one you particularly like.
Sometimes, there will be Pic-a-POD news. If so, a News button will appear. Once you have read the news, the button will disappear until there is something new to read.
Click any thumbnail to see the details window for that picture. If the pic was downloaded using an older version of Pic-a-POD, the extra information will not be immediately available, but Pic-a-POD will look for it automatically.
This windows has controls for looping through all the pics for the selected day, as well as buttons for sharing the link via Facebook, Twitter or email.
