If you follow me on Twitter or read my blog then you know I’ve been obsessed with Star Trek these last few months. The reason for this is simple – Star Trek Online. This new massive multiplayer online game from Cryptic Studios has been years in the making and allows you to take the helm of your own Starship. Thanks to Star Trek Online, the franchise is everywhere lately, from TV marathons to series updates on iTunes.

This set is my little contribution to Trek mania. I’ve always enjoyed Star Trek: The Next Generation and this icon set is my way of expressing my love for the series in pixels. If you love Star Trek as much as I do, then these icons will no doubt tickle your Tribble. Special thanks to Louie for helping me with the special LCARS style dock in the CandyBar iContainer.

PS – The set contains the futuristic tablet computer of the Next Gen, the Starfleet PADD. How fitting that Apple is about to bring it to reality with the release of the iPad in April. Make it so Steve!
